Shoulder and Hip Pain In Grapevine?

The shoulder and hip joints are two of the most mobile and frequently used joints in the body. They are also a frequent site of injury and pain for many people we see at Miracle Bodyworks.  From overuse to sports injuries, the causes are many, and the results range from slight discomfort to complete immobilization.

Treatment For Shoulders In Grapevine

Your shoulders are among the most mobile joints in your body and require a coordinated balance of muscles, tendons, bones, ligaments, and nerves in order to be not only flexible but strong and stable, as well. Sometimes, your shoulder joints can become increasingly stiff, painful, and difficult to move, which is often the result of a condition known as adhesive capsulitis, or frozen shoulder. Through relaxing the muscles in the area we are then able to begin working and stretching the injured area to restore a natural movement to the area. This can take anywhere to a few treatments to sometimes years depending on the severity and age of the issue.

Treatment For Hips in Grapevine

Your hips and a vital part of both your stability and strength when it comes to posture and balance. While the hip is where the pain my center on it is because this is the central spot for much bigger complex system of muscles. Your hip works with you lower back muscles, piriformis, psoas, it band, as well as many flexors around the hip. If any one of these muscles is cramped or not doing its job then all the other muscles have to do double the work to make up for this. All this can lead to your hip not moving correctly or being in pain when it does. We work on relaxing the entire area and giving it a chance to rest and recover. This leads to less pain and eventually no pain once the area has healed.
